Digital Media Design for the 2025 Greater Hartford Festival of Jazz

About the Project

Comprehensive digital design package for the 2025 Greater Hartford Festival of Jazz (July 18–20), supporting the festival’s on-site experience, live-streamed content, fundraising efforts, and sponsor visibility. I produced a wide range of digital assets, including sponsor advertisements, fundraiser campaigns, animated performance graphics, YouTube thumbnails for all three days of live streams, and custom promotional materials designed specifically for large-scale screen display throughout the park. This work required close coordination with the festival’s audio-visual team to ensure all deliverables met technical specifications for resolution, formatting, and playback across multiple screen types.

In addition to design production, I managed incoming sponsor advertisements by communicating directly with sponsors, organizing submitted assets, and preparing clearly labeled folders and naming conventions for seamless handoff to the AV team during the event. I created multiple digital videos for the festival, including features highlighting board members, festival history, mission statement, social media engagement messaging, vendor and service provider listings, and tributes honoring two recently deceased festival volunteers. I also designed animated visual backdrops for each performing musician and group, which were displayed on screens behind the stage during live performances, along with transparent lower-third graphics featuring the festival logo that were used during performances and speaking segments. Additional deliverables included an updated digital festival map with custom service and utility icons, custom QR codes linking to the festival website, donation page, and ticketed fundraiser, and a post-festival sponsor thank-you e-card. I stepped into this role following the passing of designer Ellis Ecchevarria, thoughtfully building upon his established visual theme while completing and expanding the festival’s full digital design needs with consistency, care, and attention to detail.
