Building a Distinctive Brand for MarshDXx

Comprehensive branding and character design project for Twitch streamer and content creator MarshDXx. The project began with a custom 2D character avatar designed to establish a recognizable visual identity across platforms; however, as content needs evolved, the limitations of manually creating new expressions became clear. To solve this, I independently learned VTube Studio and transitioned the character into a fully rigged 3D VTuber model optimized for live performance and recorded content. The final model includes multiple outfits, poses, and expressive variations, allowing for real-time facial tracking and greater flexibility during streams. Supporting assets such as YouTube thumbnails and business cards were also designed to maintain visual consistency. I provided hands-on client training to ensure smooth adoption of the VTuber workflow. This ongoing collaboration continues throughout 2025, adapting alongside the client’s creative and technical needs. The project reflects a balance of visual design, technical learning, and iterative problem-solving to create a scalable character system built for long-term content production.
